This course was developed to showcase the variety and depth of my work at Amazon. I spent two years there on a contract that was unable to be extended. In my time there, I completed more than 120 projects and had the highest average NPS rating on my team. The samples shown in this mini portfolio include: an end-to-end example (showcasing analysis, design, development, and evaluation), Storyline products, graphics, a VILT course, and a motion graphic.
This course was developed as an introductory training for new staff hires at a hospital to close knowledge gaps about basic fire prevention and safety strategies, how to use a fire extinguisher properly, and how to safely and effectively evacuate the hospital of patients and staff while minimizing the spread of a fire. The course includes closed captioning for accessibility purposes.
Using the ADDIE model, this course was developed based on client needs to educate and remind new and current hires of simple rules to practice to reduce incidents of accidents and injury when driving to/from work or when driving as part of the job requirements. The client requested real-world examples as well as statistics to provide evidence for the applicability of this course and videos with a range of interactivity to make the course more engaging for learners.
Working from home has caused a lot of disruption in the routines of many people around the world. People are finding it difficult to be as productive at home as they have been at work. I created this short training to provide some actionable advice that people can begin implementing to better manage their time to be more efficient and effective while working - skills that can be carried over if/when they return to the office.
I was approached by a company after they had noticed some of their employees were reporting feeling down, demotivated, unenergized - particularly as a result of the pandemic. They were looking for a quick course that could provide some actionable steps their employees could take to rectify this. I decided to share some awareness of key areas in which we need to take good care of ourselves, why we should do this, and some methods and techniques to implement to begin improving our self-care. If we won't care for ourselves, who else can we count on to do it for us?
